About Me

Born and raised in America, I moved to Canberra when I was 17. After learning alot about the Curly Girl Method for my own curly hair and enjoying it so much, I started my hairdressing apprenticeship in 2021 – I’m in my 3rd and final year.

I started training in curly cutting and colouring at the start of my apprenticeship and in 2022 I completed the Clever Curl curly cutting masterclass. I am really passionate about the science behind hair and hair products and the specific needs of curly hair.

Before hairdressing I already knew my mission was to help everyone embrace their natural hair texture and I love to share the knowledge that’s helped me with my curls.

My own hair texture changed so much as I grew up so I really struggled with my curls and learning about the Curly Girl Method and how to take care of my them helped me love my hair. I believe everybody has the right to love their natural hair texture!
